Lavender Simple Syrup
This versatile syrup is wonderful to keep in the refrigerator and instantly elevates drinks and desserts.
Ingredients
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon White Oak Lavender Farm Culinary Lavender
Directions
- Combine the water and sugar in a saucepan over medium heat.
- Stir until the sugar dissolves completely.
- Add the culinary lavender.
- Simmer gently for 2–3 minutes.
- Remove from heat and let steep for 20–30 minutes.
- Strain through a fine-mesh sieve.
- Refrigerate for up to two weeks.
