Lavender Simple Syrup

This versatile syrup is wonderful to keep in the refrigerator and instantly elevates drinks and desserts.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon White Oak Lavender Farm Culinary Lavender

Directions

  1. Combine the water and sugar in a saucepan over medium heat.
  2. Stir until the sugar dissolves completely.
  3. Add the culinary lavender.
  4. Simmer gently for 2–3 minutes.
  5. Remove from heat and let steep for 20–30 minutes.
  6. Strain through a fine-mesh sieve.
  7. Refrigerate for up to two weeks.
